8 NAJZDRAVIJIH NAMIRNICA

Ljekoviti pripravci na bazi bilja i hrane stoljećima su bili okosnica medicine. Danas sve više ljudi ponovno otkriva njihovu moć i okreće se drevnim namirnicama i zaboravljenim narodnim ljekovitim pripravcima. Korištenje namirnica u narodnoj medicini utkano je u temelje moderne dijetoterapije, piše portal živim.hr.

Danas se hrana promatra u prvom redu kao izvor nutrijenata koji potiču rast i razvoj organizma te pridonose sprečavanju pojave bolesti. Ranije je, međutim, imala i dodatnu ulogu. Primjenjivala se u liječenju. Začeci korištenja hrane u narodnoj medicini sežu do starog Egipta. Ne samo da se već tada znalo kako nedovoljan unos hrane dovodi do bolesti, već su se i različite dijete propisivale kod različitih bolesnih stanja. Štoviše, ondašnji su liječnici u liječenju koristili svakodnevne namirnice koje su poslije postale neizostavni dio narodne medicine europskih naroda. Hranu kao pomoć u sprečavanju i liječenju bolesti nastavili su koristiti stari Grci tvrdeći kako je kvalitetna prehrana izuzetno važna u očuvanju zdravlja. Njihova tradicija se nadograđivala i unapređivala sve do današnjih dana.

Bez preuveličavanja se može reći da je korištenje namirnica u narodnoj medicini utkano u temelje moderne dijetoterapije.

 Tako je mlijeko od davnina prva pomoć kada čovjek nepažnjom popije neku kemikaliju. Slično tome, bjelanjak pomaže u neutralizaciji toksičnih metala u želucu. Teofilin iz zelenog čaja širi bronhe, dok teobromin iz kakaa i kofein djeluju kao diuretici. Kofein uz to smanjuje osjećaj umora. Ranije se koristila kava, a danas se u sportu tijekom treninga ili natjecanja izdržljivosti uzima čisti kofein.


Peršin

U kulinarstvu se kod nas peršin nedovoljno koristi. Obično nam njegovi listovi služe za dekoraciju, a korijen u pripremi domaće goveđe ili pileće juhe. S druge strane, u narodnoj medicini peršin ima dugu tradiciju primjene. Pomaže olakšavanje menstrualnih tegoba i lučenje mlijeka kod dojilja. Također je učinkovita pomoć u očuvanju zdravlja krvnih žila, što se velikim dijelom može zahvaliti antioksidativnom djelovanju flavonoida apigenina. Od aktivnih tvari valja još spomenuti apiol i miristicin, koji potiču izmokravanje. Oni tako pridonose uklanjanju bubrežnih kamenaca i liječenju urinarnih infekcija pa je peršin s pravom čest sastojak narodnih lijekova namijenjenih njihovu ublažavanju.


Pripravak za zdravlje mokraćnih puteva

Sastojci:

  • 250 g peršinova korijena
  • 250 g neprskanog limuna
  • 200 g meda
  • 2 dl maslinova ulja


Priprema:

Operite peršinov korijen i limun, narežite ih na krupne kocke te dvaput sameljite u stroju za mljevenje mesa.

Peršin i limun pomiješajte s maslinovim uljem i medom u jednoličnu smjesu te stavite u čistu pasteriziranu staklenku.

Po jednu veliku žlicu smjese uzimajte prije doručka i večere do izlječenja bakterijske infekcije.


Med & Đumbir

Jedna od najpopularnijih namirnica drevnog Egipta koja se koristila i u liječenju je med. Zahvaljujući obilju jednostavnih šećera uspješno se primjenjivao u tretmanu rana i sprečavanju razmnožavanja bakterija. To antibakterijsko djelovanje meda koristi se i danas u liječenju grlobolje pa je med sastojak mnogih bezreceptnih lijekova i dodataka prehrani. I doista, znanstvena istraživanja potvrđuju da med sprečava rast bakterija na ranama.

Iako je egzotičan začin, đumbir se sve više koristi u našoj svakodnevnoj kuhinji, dok je zbog bogatstva aktivnih tvari dobrodošla pomoć u liječenju različitih zdravstvenih tegoba. Privatizirat ću na trenutak ovaj tekst i reći kako mi je đumbir prva i najbolja pomoć kod grlobolje i prehlade. I uistinu, đumbirov se korijen od davnina koristi u liječenju infekcija dišnih puteva; bronhitisa, grlobolje, kašlja i sl. Kad ga žvačemo, osjećamo žarenje u ustima i nosu, i to zbog hlapljivih i nehlapljivih biološki aktivnih komponenti, u prvom redu gingerola, šogaola, paradola i zingerona, koji mu daju aromu i okus. Da je đumbir pomoć u liječenju tegoba dišnog sustava, potvrđuju rezultati znanstvenih istraživanja koji opisuju njegovo protuupalno djelovanje i učinkovitost ekstrakta protiv bakterija Staphylococcus aureus i Pseudomonas aeruginosa.


Protiv grlobolje i prehlade

Sastojci: 

  • 1 čajna žlica sitno naribanog đumbirovog korijena
  • 1 jušna žlica meda
  • 1 jušna žlica svježe iscijeđenog limunovog soka


Priprema:

Sve sastojke pomiješajte.

Uzimajte više puta na dan po pola čajne žličice te polako otapajte u ustima.

Držite poklopljeno u hladnjaku i potrošite tijekom istog dana.

Češnjak

Češnjak je jedna od najčešćih i najdugovječnijih namirnica narodne medicine. Potiče apetit i izmokravanje, ima pozitivan utjecaj na krvožilni sustav i živce, a djeluje i kao diuretik. Osim toga koristi se kao pomoć u liječenju upale pluća te je čest sastojak domaćih sirupa za iskašljavanje. Početak zanimanja znanstvenika za češnjak seže u prvu polovicu devetnaestog stoljeća i traje do današnjih dana. Pokazalo se da češnjak obiluje aktivnim tvarima, među kojima se ističe alin. Kad se zdrobljeni češnjak izlaže kisiku, alin se pretvara u alicin, hlapljivu tvar koja utječe na njegov specifičan miris. Osamdesete godine prošlog stoljeća bile su zlatne godine u istraživanju češnjaka. Uočilo se da je svježi češnjak učinkovitiji od suhog. Pokazala se njegova djelotvornost u snižavanju povišenog krvnog tlaka, koncentracije glukoze i masnoća u krvi te ukupnog i LDL kolesterola.

Svježi češnjak smanjuje i rizik od prekomjernog zgrušavanja krvi. To se može zahvaliti ajoenu, čija se učinkovitost može usporediti s aspirinom.

 Nažalost, nema ga u suhom češnjaku. Zanimljivo je spomenuti da je i Pasteur istraživao ljekovita svojstva češnjaka. Dokazao je antifungalno i antibakterijsko djelovanje njegova soka. To se u provom redu odnosi na bakterije iz rodova Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Bacillus i Vibrio cholerae.

Danas se mogu kupiti dodaci prehrani s češnjakom. Često se za njih tvrdi da su bez mirisa, no to onda znači da su vrijedne aktivne tvari alin, alicin i ajoen u neaktivnom ili slabo dostupnom obliku. Moglo bi se, dakle, zaključiti da je češnjak s pravom cijenjena namirnica koja ljekovita svojstva pokazuje u svom najjednostavnijem obliku – onom svježem. Napomena: Treba izbjegavati prekomjerno konzumiranje češnjaka jer može iritirati želudac, uzrokovati glavobolju te potaknuti pojavu nadutosti, hemoroida i sl.

Banana

Banana je mnogima omiljeno voće. Toliko se udomaćila u našoj prehrani da je više i ne percipiramo kao egzotičnu namirnicu. Sirovu je jedemo kao užinu i desert, od nje se rade različite slastice, a povrh svega ima primjenu i u narodnoj medicini. U kombinaciji s čajem, pireom od kuhanih jabuka, rižom i dvopekom korisna je tijekom oporavka od virusnih proljeva, čestih kod male djece posebice ljeti. Lako je probavljiva, a kao odličan izvor jednostavnih ugljikohidrata, magnezija i kalija pridonosi vraćanju izgubljene energije i ravnoteži elektrolita.

Kupusnjače

Kupusnjače (kupus, kelj, brokula, raštika i sl.) namirnice su izuzetne vrijednosti koje, nažalost, ne cijenimo dovoljno. Još su ih u narodnoj medicini koristili stari Grci držeći ih univerzalnim lijekom za sve. Aristotel ih je često preporučivao protiv mamurnosti. Mnoge su biološki aktivne tvari u kupusnjačama. Obiluju glukozinolatima (tvarima sa sumporom) koji im daju specifičnu aromu i pikantan okus. Dosad je iz kupusnjača izolirano više od 100 različitih glukozinolata jedinstvenih puteva razgradnje. Enzimskom razgradnjom glukozinolata nastaju indoli i izotiocijanati. Jedan od izotiocijanata je sulforafan. Pokazuje protuupalni učinak koji sasvim sigurno pridonosi uspješnom korištenju kupusa u liječenju upalnih procesa. Kupusnjače su prava riznica mikronutrijenata poput folata, vitamina C i karotenoida, a tu su još klorofil i vlakna. Sve te tvari djeluju sinergijski u očuvanju našeg zdravlja. Pomažu tako sprečavanju i liječenju anemije, potiču rad crijeva, normaliziraju koncentraciju šećera u krvi, a također štite od raka pluća, debelog crijeva, dojke, prostate i gušterače.


Oblozi od listova kupusa

Sastojci: 

  • peršinov list
  • maslinovo ulje
  • listovi kupusa, raštike ili kelja


Priprema: U mužaru izgnječite peršinov list. Dodajte maslinovo ulje i miješajući izradite homogenu smjesu. Nanesite je na list kupusa u ravnomjernom sloju te sve pažljivo položite na bolni zglob. Omotajte pamučnom tkaninom. Držite tako preko noći. Postupak ponavljajte svaku večer dok se bol ne smiri. Prve rezultate primijetit ćete već nakon tjedan dana.

Brusnice

Brusnice su slatka pomoć u sprečavanju upala organa mokraćnog sustava i u njihovu liječenju. To se, među ostalim, može zahvaliti proantocijanidinima, koji se vrlo dobro apsorbiraju u krv. Iz krvi dolaze u mokraću i svojom aktivnošću štite bubrege, mokraćovod, mokraćni mjehur i mokraćnu cijev. Sprečavaju, naime, lijepljenje bakterija za njihovu sluznicu. Osim toga brusnice su kisele, što je dodatni zaštitni čimbenik u sprečavanju razmnožavanja patogenih bakterija. Brusnice također smanjuju mogućnost pojave gripe, zaštitno djeluju na zdravlje zuba, snižavaju ukupan i loš, LDL kolesterol. Remete razvoj nekih vrsta gljivica te bakterije Helicobacter pylori djelujući tako pozitivno na zdravlje želuca.


Čaj od brusnica

Čaj od brusnica koristan je u liječenju infekcija mokraćnih puteva. Priprema se tako da se 30 grama suhih brusnica kuha u pola litre vode dok polovica vode ne ispari. Kuha se uvijek svježi i pije tri puta dnevno.

Napomena: Brusnice nije preporučljivo konzumirati s uvinim čajem jer remete njegovo djelovanje. Naime, brusnice zakiseljuju urin, dok aktivne komponente uvinog čaja traže lužnatu sredinu.


Šljive

Šljive su vrlo cijenjene u narodnoj medicini kao lijek protiv zatvora stolice. Njihova učinkovitost pripisuje se laksativnom djelovanju prehrambenih vlakana i sorbitola (koji je po svojoj strukturi alkohol). Osim što pozitivno djeluju na rad crijeva i pridonose detoksikaciji organizma, vlakna također pomažu snižavanju masnoća, šećera i kolesterola u krvi. Smanjuju tako rizik od sve prisutnijeg metaboličkog sindroma. Šljive se mogu jesti sirove i suhe. Pirjane šljive bez dodanog šećera mogu biti namaz na kruh ili palačinke. Od suhih šljiva često se radi kompot. Nije ga teško pripremiti, a užitak je nezaboravan.


Kompot za bolju probavu

Sastojci (za 2 osobe):

  • 1 jabuka
  • 4 suhe šljive
  • komadić korijena đumbira
  • ¼ štapića cimeta
  • 2 klinčića
  • malo anisa


Priprema:

U hladnu vodu sa začinima stavite kuhati neoguljenu jabuku narezanu na četvrtine i oguljeni korijen đumbira.

Kada voda zakipi, kuhajte još 2 minute. Dodajte suhe šljive i kuhajte sljedeće 2 minute.

Skinite s vatre, malo ohladite i poslužite. Ljeti se ovaj kompot može piti hladan.


Napomena: 
Suhe šljive s košticom kvalitetnije su od onih bez koštice. Naime, uklanjanjem koštice oštećuje se plod, koji tako postaje podložan nepoželjnim oksidativnim promjenama koje djeluju na aromu i okus.

    I was curious if you ever considered changing the page layout of your blog? Its very well written; I love what youve got to say. But maybe you could a little more in the way of content so people could connect with it better. Youve got an awful lot of text for only having one or two pictures. Maybe you could space it out better?

    The crux of your writing while appearing reasonable originally, did not settle well with me after some time. Someplace within the sentences you were able to make me a believer but just for a very short while. I however have a problem with your jumps in assumptions and you might do nicely to help fill in all those gaps. If you actually can accomplish that, I could definitely end up being amazed.
